Census: O.C. continuing steady economic recovery, drawing more foreign-born residents

“The overall picture is one of steady economic improvement, though not so dramatic
in the past year as in the nation as a whole,” said Susan K. Brown, an associate sociology
professor at UC Irvine. “But Orange County was doing better to begin with in terms
of unemployment and poverty.”
