Hudson grad tapped for $10 bill redesign

Bill Maurer, an internationally recognized expert on the anthropology of money, finance
and law… brought his expertise cross-country, to Washington, D.C., where he and a
group of academics, curators and other experts met with Secretary of the Treasury
Jacob J. Lew at the National Museum of American History of the Smithsonian Institution,
according to a press release from the University of California, Irvine, where he is
on the faculty. The topic of discussion: Who will be the first female face on the
new $10 bill?
