UCI's multicultural celebration is filled with rich traditions such as the red envelope, a colorful parade with an animated dragon and prancing lions maneuvering their way through the flurry of excited spectators. The stage comes to life through musical performances filled with colorful costumes, while guests make wishes for hope, health and happiness at the wishing tree. The festival comes to an end with a wondrous nighttime lightshow, as a nod to the traditional firecrackers, celebrating the coming of the New Year.
