The Memory Attention Perception Laboratory (MAP-Lab) studies how humans perceive, attend, learn, and remember information using a combination of behavioral testing and mathematical modeling.

Our research falls into three categories:

  • Memory in humans, with emphasis on forgetting and retrieval in explicit and implicit memory.

  • Attention processes and their consequences for perceptual efficiency in information processing.

  • How training in perceptual tasks improves visual performance and its use in cognitive rehabilitation.
