Thomas C. Schelling is a Distinguished University Professor Emeritus in the Department of Economics and School of Public Policy, University of Maryland. In 2005, he shared the Nobel Prize in Economics with Robert Aumann of the University of Jerusalem for "having enhanced our understanding of conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis."
