The School of Social Sciences Dean's Ambassadors Council cordially invites you to participate in a philanthropic dinner and dialogue with three outstanding individuals whose own lives and perspectives have been altered through their experiences in Iraq.

Gain perspectives that have yet to be captured in national headlines. Learn about Iraqi citizen's quality of life from those who have lived it. Part of the funds raised through the purchase of a dinner ticket will be used to supply Iraqi children with school supplies.

LT. Phillip Peacock (USMC): Infantry officer deployed April 2007 - November 2007 who provided security, stabilization and humanitarian operations throughout Anbar Province with the First Marine Expeditionary Force.

Omar Feikeiki: Washington Post Writer and Iraqi-born journalist, is currently a Berkeley School of Journalism Student who embedded with US Army and Marine forces during the battle of Fallujah in 2004.

SPC. Nick Masellis (US Army): deployed March 2003 - April 2004 with the 101st Airborne Division. After the initial invasion, supported stabilizations operations throughout southern Iraq and assisted in training Iraqi Police.
