Jumpstart for a Day (JFAD)
Literacy Fair is a free,
one day learning fair for local preschoolers and their families
that promotes social and
language skills necessary for
future academic success
through fun and interactive
learning stations.

Jumpstart is a national nonprofit organization committed to building literacy, language, social, and initiative skills in young children. Jumpstart Irvine is sponsored by the UC Irvine Department of Cognitive Sciences in the School of Social Sciences.
