Office of the Associate Dean
The Office of the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies serves the Social
Sciences undergraduate student body. The office acts as an administrative
liaison between students and faculty, students and departments and between
various School and Campus offices that offer additional student services.
Our goal is to assist students in obtaining academic success as well as
obtaining post-graduate goals.
The Office of the Associate Dean can assist with academic and career
planning, internships, research opportunities, student employment
opportunities, and school policy adherence. The office also supports
school outreach programs and various student organizations.
The Office of the Associate Dean works directly with the
Undergraduate Counseling Office
which supports students through all aspects of academic advising, and the
Social Science Academic Resource
Center which provides career and graduate school planning as well as
information on internships.
The Office of the Associate Dean also provides administrative assistance to
the undergraduate programs in International Studies, Linguistics and Social
Sciences including faculty support, scheduling, assistance with payroll,
reimbursements and purchasing and hiring lecturers.
