Student Research Presentations

Field Studies 193ABC is a course where students are required to complete an ethnographic research project at a non-profit agency in the local community. The three-quarter series class facilitates action research and requires students to serve low socioeconomic status communities at non-profit agencies. By winter quarter, students have a first draft of their presentations that include methods and preliminary findings. The Spring quarter introduces the data analysis phase and requires a research presentation of the entire research process completed throughout the academic year.

The following PowerPoint presentations are examples of previous work/research conducted by PCS majors. The presentations show students' progress and present real data gather throughout the 193 experience.
