Our View: Prop. 206 sounds good but has heavy costs (Opinion)

A 2006 study by David Neumark, an economics professor at the University of California at, Irvine, and William Wascher, of the research and statistics division at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, reviewed literature on minimum wage and concluded that of the most credible analyses done, "almost all point to negative employment effects."
