One day after this year’s commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., UCI political
science professor Davin Phoenix and 3rd year poli sci major Parshan Khosravi take
up the professor’s research on minority executive models, from the mayoral to the
presidential level in the U.S. This research anticipates the cases that President
Obama will make in his State of the Union address tonight. The next course that Professor
Phoenix will be teaching is, this spring quarter, “Urban Politics.”
