Decisions about relocation vary based on individuals’ needs and preferences, previous mobility experiences, kin and social networks, and resources to realize a move.

This talk draws on data from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1997 to explore what influences young adults’ expectations to move and their subsequent behavior.
