"Conference: Identity and Conflict"

Saturday, February 8, 2014
8:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Social & Behavioral Sciences Gateway, Room 1511

Detailed agenda with select abstracts available online.

With this event, CGPACS goes back to the conviction of its founders that problems of peace, conflict and the public good must be addressed by economics as well. The event is co-organized by UC Irvine economics professors Stergios Skaperdas and Jean-Paul Carvalho. Skaperdas is the newly appointed Clifford S. Heinz Chair. Established in 1988 by the UC Regents, the honor recognizes an outstanding UC Irvine scholar who studies the economics of peace.
