"Shaping New Narratives"

New approaches are needed and daily opportunities are available to promote individual and campus well-being through new narratives about race and culture. Four scholars will present a lively conversation about identities and intergroup relations at UC Irvine. The panelists and audience will use this safe and engaging forum to share their stories, to reflect on current campus issues and to design strategies that foster intergroup respect, communications and collaborations.

New Narratives is a program series which aims to help students gain essential cultural knowledge and skills in intergroup communications and collaboration. It examines the interplay of diverse communities to understand the impact of race and culture within the context of a college campus.
