About the speaker:
Dr Raya Muttarak is currently a researcher at the Vienna Institute of Demography, and at the World Population Program of IIASA, both in Austria. Before that she was a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow, and a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow, at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, European University Institute, Italy. She has her D.Phil and MSc in Sociology from Oxford University, and an MA from Waseda University in Tokyo. Her BA is from Chiang Mai University, Thailand.
