Former Speaker of the California Assembly and San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown will deliver the Dr. Joseph L. White Keynote Lecture as a part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium put on annually by UCI's Cross-Cultural Center.Brown will discuss his 40 years of public service and speak, from a civil rights/social justice perspective, on the current state of our nation and California, the economy, and what he believes Dr. King might say during a time that our nation is so divided.
