CONFERENCE ON

"BEHAVIOR IN AND ON NETWORKS"

JANUARY 21, 22, 23, 2011
Social Science Plaza A, room 2112

CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION:

The study of social networks dates back to at least the early 20th century, and has
been an established field for several decades.  The last ten years, however, has
seen a tremendous explosion in both the pace of progress within the field, and in
the number of researchers who are actively contributing to it.  This conference brings
together researchers from a range of disciplines who are actively engaged in the modeling
of behavior in and on networks using a variety of approaches. The resulting gathering is
intended as a forum to explore new theoretical, methodological, and empirical developments
in the study of social networks.
