Welcome to my personal website. I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine. My research concerns the conceptual foundations of statistics. The work I do here is intertwined and interacts with some of the traditional questions in metaphysics ("What is the nature, and interpretation, of probability?"), epistemology ("What makes evidence good or reliable for justified belief?") and philosophy of science ("How are scientific theories tested, confirmed or corroborated?"). I also have interests in the history of analytic philosophy, especially of the early modern period (Berkeley and Kant) and early 20th century (Russell).
