How You Can Help

The research focus of our laboratory is the investigation into the neural substrates of human speech and language. We investigate this using behavioral, psychophysical, and neuroimaging (magnetoencephalography, or MEG) techniques, with parallel lines of investigation: healthy adults and children, and children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism.

 

An introduction to cognitive neuroscience which takes a thematic approach to the study of mind and brain, providing a functional framework for teaching separate but highly inter-related topics such as attention, memory, and executive function.
